Loving with Laughter, Hope and Diligence. You deserve it. So do I.

Still loving you.

In a way that I can live life. Which means loving you as a friend.

Taking a step back, I have changed. Revolution, some may say. I feel it.

Though you are miles away, I can see you smiling. I don't have to live a hard life to give you happiness - these are absolutely independent events. By being happy myself, I can live a bit longer. Long enough to see you smile, if you ever return.

Place: Melrose House

In short ...

American International school students came to visit for an hour. I half expected to see some haughty bitchy American girls, but fortunately I was proven wrong. Oh my.. Not only were the students gorgeous but they were sincere in playing with the children. I'm impressed. With all that bad publicity about the United States these days, it is this kind of soft power projection that is sorely lacking.

I love the way they carry their accent. Not fake at all; sounded so real it seemed surreal. And the students weren't all that open to strangers. I thought they would "Hey you what's up?" But obviously that wasn't the case. Rather I felt a little of their charisma somehow. Hmmm.... I should have interacted more with them. Looking forward to next Tuesday. Maybe I should start an exchange programme with the American International School haha...

Place: Settlers' Cafe Katong

Went there with a couple of XSeed-ers. Played Betrayal, another German cow game, and of course Citadel. Upstairs was quiet and peaceful, but once it became full, the echo of laughter was at times too loud to bear.

We chose a package with free flow drinks. But since the service was slow and we were too engrossed in the games, we didn't bother to refill too often. Didn't feel like free flow at all. But playing board games is a good form of entertainment. If you have got some time to spare.
