Purpose: Improve oneself

S2 of Gundam resumed last week, and this week's episode showed how much his skill has improved - as seen when he could not rely on beam weapons yet he still managed to destroy that GN-XIII using melee. And I still wonder how 00 activated in the end... What a difference four years has made. Better fighting skills but still the same will and determination to persevere on and change the world.

Four years - that's how long my university programme is. Two years have passed, how much have I improved? Have I improved? After entering SMU I have lost sight of daily successes but weighed down by my failures. I feel misguided.

So show me how good you are, really. Set some achievable, challenging objectives. Show yourself that you can do it. Let yourself see how you are improving, so life now has a purpose. Growing is part of life, so do not just grow in age day by day, but grow in abilities, confidence, spirit. Make sure you can see it, feel it, do not lose sight of it, for it is one of the Purposes.

Improve yourself, that is the first step. Then start thinking about how to help others - this is an important step, for living is not just about yourself, but your family and community. But get your life in order first, and always keep it in order - or you cannot take the second step forward.

Aeolia thought of changing the world, and he worked out a plan 200 years ago that worked to a large extent today, and the plan is still in action. But that is fiction. In real life, maybe I should start with getting the next 200 minutes right first, then the next 200 and so on. Objective: no, not intervention in world affairs, but rather, intervention in my own life.

World Peace. V
